I don't often do this

but i came across these vintage-looking pharmacy bottles at Restoration Hardware, and while i'm not normally one to post about big brand purchases, I am absolutely enamoured by these... but which style to buy? frosted? clear? amber?

Leftover Paint Pots

A little over the top in terms of execution, but i certainly won't miss having to wrestle a old can open only to get it all over myself and discover it's the wrong colour.

Biased Review - Aveda Environmental Compact

I have this product, and it is a storage winner, so i thought i'd share.

Aveda makes this modular, magnetic compact that keeps all your 'face-stuff' in one place. You just pick what you need and pop it in; creating your own pallet and halving your make-up bag. Hear that? It's the sound of Efficiency Nymphs the world over dancing with delight.

The good news is that Aveda isn't the only one to sell make-up that works with this system, i've had success with Annabelle, Rimmel and Maybeline... just make sure that the products are magnetic.

Ok, enough free advertising....

Screw This

Slightly concerned about my level of excitement regarding this clever storage project. Perfect for the kitchen, the garage, office, workroom.... and pretty much anywhere you may find small things.

The only adjustment i would make is to use Bonne Maman jars with their charming gingham tops.

(Also included a photo of Design*Sponge's Tea shelf using the same concept.)
