In defense of artful storage
I died a little inside when I saw this because I can't understand why someone did not come up with this brilliant idea sooner!!!All bookshelves should be made with shorties in mind. I'm 5'0" and every trip to the bookstore or library means I will have to awkwardly approach a stranger and ask, "Excuse me, can you get this down for me?" In fact, let's take it a step further and say that grocery and department stores should also do this with their shelves!
I want these in my kid's room! In a 900sq. ft. house with 3 people you need all the vertical storage you can get.
How do you build these? Are plans/information available?
I believe this is a student project, check out the 'by way of' link under the post for more information.
I love this project!! How do you build?? I can definitely use it in the garage, but there are other uses since I do not have a large living space.
This is wonderful! What a clever idea. How can I get the directions on how to make this? Or is it for sale?
I love this! Always in need of cleaver storage. I need this in my craft room and garage. Thanks for sharing!
If you guys lived in Georgia I would build these for you, my wife sent me here, she wants me to build her 1 or 5
I live in Georgia! How much if you r selling it?
Apparently someone has a lot of cleavers.
I live in ga and would love to have one to start, possibly more. How much would you charge?
Well, Ikea better buy the rights and plans to mass produce. This seems to be a very popular item, but no one knows where or how to go about ordering it. I saw this bookcase a few months ago, and have been searching the internet trying to find someone/company who could sell it to me. what good is a great product if you don't sell it????
Uh, DUH...lose the built-in step design, unit becomes shorter and reachable. Seriously??
