Happy Father's Day!
All these helpful devices stored in one place.... perfect gift for dad =)[Ummmm.... so turns out this actually exists... jokes on me]
Wine Cranny
Forget beer holders, this is much more sophisticated. You could probably customize your existing chairs and show off to all your friends.

Beautiful Solution: Produce Storage
A minimalist, zero-energy storage system for fruits and vegetables created by Jihyun Ryou. Probably not suitable for the Minivan Set, but for those with a palate for simple living and slow food, this seems faultless.(thanks for the suggestion andra)

One of these pieces ain't like the others
Remove one piece and fit it with a trough... add ice... perfect backyard cooler.I also find this solution appropriate for lake-side lounging... would be nice to keep my salsa/beer/orange slices cool while lounging on the dock.

Three Cheers for The TOOL DOT
The guys at Laboratory 424 (of previous S|G mentions) sent me some of these extra-strenght magnets to test out. Super sticky on one side, soft and mega-magnetic on the other, the Tool Dots are overwhelmingly handy! With my own studio set up underway, these guys arrived just in time for some fun experimenting. The simplicity of the 'hookless key hook' seems to delight all our visitors. But it's our 'floating' paint cans that really get attention. With whiteboards all over the place we no longer have to run around trying to collect markers and brushes... now we pop off the can and take it with us on our journey. Magic.
I have secretly kept a couple to myself for home use... I imagine one could get a little obsessed with these little guys... any ideas on how they could best be used?

My Digs
While i wish i could incorporate every project on S|G into my personal space, i have to keep my nerdy fascination for storage at bay... making an effort to avoid being one of those people with boxes of boxes, inside bigger boxes... i can hear it now "Hey Laurence, do you have any boxes?" "Sure do, they are in my special box room"... nobody wants to be that girl.
I moved into my a new space last october, and there are a couple little projects i thought you might get a kick out of. Enjoy

My Digs: Badminton Bling
A super straightforward project using my dad's old badminton racket, 2 eye hooks and a couple small nails. Perfecto! Earrings sorted. (PRO TIP: somehow looks better if you stagger the pair, placing one a little higher than the other... no idea why... but it works)Posted by

My Digs: Flossy DIY
I am obsessed with the design of the crest glide case. From a sustainability perspective (my other hat, when i'm not changing the world through storage), its design-for-dissassembly makes it easier to recycle the different bits appropriately, but that's a whole other story.
Here i've taken the bits apart (there's actually 2 cases in there) and affixed it to the inside of a bamboo toothbrush holder, gluing the mini blade to the outside for easy snipping. Voila! An extremely nerdy invention to make flossing fun... ok that's a lie, flossing will never be fun.
